Meet Ethan Cox, Our New Director of Strategic Growth

July 14, 2022

Starting as a dream by founders Dick and Jean Wilson, Tohono Chul was envisioned as a place to connect with nature, art, and culture. That ardor has once again been reignited with new leadership and a new vision. We are excited to announce our first-ever Director of Strategic Growth, Ethan Cox, CFRE. This appointment initiates a new era of expansion and growth with a dynamic and passionate team, excited to continue the Wilson’s legacy.

Objectives for this new role include strategic planning, economic sustainability, and establishing community-oriented activities. With more than two decades of experience and over $50 million fundraised dollars to his credit, Ethan is up to the task. “I am so thrilled to join Tohono Chul and be a part of stewarding this jewel in Arizona’s crown. Under the leadership of Jamie Maslyn Larson, there is so much renewed energy around the work, vision, and mission of Tohono Chul and I know this will be an exciting place to be during the next several years,” says Cox.

Ethan looks forward to employing his substantial foundation in philanthropy and funding ventures for Tohono Chul. His philosophy is to create opportunities for everyone to support the things they care about most. Everyone, from a child to a visitor or docent, will have a way to make a difference at Tohono Chul.
