As part of Monsoon Market and Chillin’ at the Chul, escape the summer heat and join us for a relaxing evening at Tohono Chul as you create a beautiful cactus dish garden in the shade of Sami’s Courtyard. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or a margarita while our nursery team guides you through selecting, arranging, and planting three unique desert cacti in a decorative planter, complete with accent rocks and care instructions to take home.
Before or after the workshop, explore Monsoon Market’s plant sale, educational exhibits, artisan vendors, and garden talks. Set to the music of our Chillin’ at the Chul concert series and surrounded by the mature Ironwood trees of Sami’s Courtyard, this hands-on workshop is a chance to slow down, get creative, and bring home a little piece of the desert. No experience necessary.
