What can I expect from Glowing Pumpkins?
Glowing Pumpkins is an immersive Halloween experience for all ages. Trails of intricately hand-carved and illuminated jack-o-lanterns welcome visitors as they make their way through the walking trail at Tohono Chul Park. Immerse yourself in a Halloween wonderland featuring Dinosaur Land, Under The Sea, Superheroes, a gift shop, and tons of other“Instagram-able” moments for all to enjoy! Come experience what everyone is talking about.

The event will take place right here at Tohono Chul. 7366 N Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ 85704.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
The event takes place outdoors.
How long does the experience last?
Glowing Pumpkins takes place from September 21st – October 31st. We are open from 6:30 to 10:30 pm every Wednesday to Sunday. The entrance to our parking lot closes at 9:45 pm and the entrance to the trail closes at 10:00 pm. Please arrive on time so we can make sure you are able to see the show. Twilight tickets are discounted due to the sun still setting at this hour.
Is there air conditioning?
No, there is no air conditioning as this is an outdoor event.
Is the experience accessible for deaf people?
Yes.
Will there be strobe lights?
No.
Will food and beverage be available on-site for purchase?
Yes, there will be food for purchase from the Garden Bistro as well as bar service.
Are there vegan or gluten free options available?
Yes.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
Feel free to take photos and share them/tag @glowing_pumpkins on IG or hashtag #glowingpumpkins! When taking photos, please make sure not to disturb others. Professional equipment and tripods are not permitted.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
Yes, there will be limited seating but this is a walking show.
Will restrooms be available on site?
Yes, there are restrooms available.
Do I need to wear a mask?
Wearing a mask is not required, but you are welcome to wear one if you’d like.
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
It is recommended that you arrive within the time stated on your ticket to maximize your experience.
What happens if I arrive late?
Your ticket will still be valid, but you may be required to wait until there is space in the following time slots.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the grounds. Service animals are welcome. Tohono Chul does not allow therapy/emotional support animals, as they are not defined as service animals under the ADA.
Is the venue ADA-compliant?
Yes, it is ADA-compliant. There are ramps accessible for people in wheelchairs. Please note that there are some paths that are not paved.
Are wheelchairs available to rent?
Wheelchairs are available at Admissions on a first-come basis.
Is there an age requirement?
There is no age requirement; all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Is there parking available?
On-site parking is available just inside the entrance at Paseo del Norte. Parking for motorhomes and buses is available along the exit drive.
What if the weather is bad?
The event will take place rain or shine. We will only close the event if the grounds are deemed unsafe due to severe weather conditions or damage to our infrastructure. Tickets are non-refundable, but in an emergency closure scenario, we will exchange your tickets for another date.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
Flash photography, alcohol, and anything that may disturb the other patrons.
