JazzTechs
Sunday, March 8th | 1:30 – 3 PM
The JazzTechs are delighted to return to Tohono Chul, a venue that consistently inspires their performances. The ensemble has been together for many years under the musical direction of Howard Tuller, cultivating a cohesive sound rooted in deep respect for the jazz tradition. Many of the members are also involved with the Pima Community College Jazz programs, currently led by Scott Black, further strengthening the group’s artistry and collaborative spirit.
The program features selections by jazz luminaries including Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Dizzy Gillespie, and the celebrated writing partnership of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, among others. The JazzTechs are honored to share this music and look forward to an evening of timeless jazz.
