Join Tohono Chul and special guests from the Smithsonian Institute, New York Botanical Garden, Borderlands Restoration, and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, for a salon-style discussion exploring the past, present, and future of the Wild Chile Botanical Area.

Plein Air with Homemade Watercolors w/ Catherine Nash
Saturday + Sunday, November 8 + 9
9 AM – 3 PM
$300 Members | $350 General Public
With full access to the beautiful grounds of Tohono Chul, participants will create their own homemade watercolors and paint outside en plein aire. Taking inspiration from the dramatic light, color, and varied textures of the Sonoran Desert.

Tumacácori Mission w/ Borderlandia
Due to the ongoing government shutdown, this walking tour has been cancelled.
Join us for a guided interpretive walking tour of Tumacácori National Historical Park and the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail with Alex La Pierre of Borderlandia. Gain a deeper understanding and sense of place for the Arizona-Sonora Borderlands!

We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be flexible. If we need to cancel or reschedule an event due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you need to cancel your registration within two weeks of the scheduled program, we’ll gladly offer a full refund if we’re able to fill your spot.
