Join us for a special day trip to the internationally renowned Heard Museum, dedicated to connecting Indigenous creativity to the world by showcasing the voice and vision of American Indian artists. There, you will experience one of the world’s largest and most celebrated American Indian art markets at the 68th Annual Indian Fair & Market! This special event brings together Indigenous artistry, live entertainment, delicious food, and more. Enjoy free time to explore the museum’s stunning exhibits and immerse yourself in the energy of the fair and market. Tohono Chul’s Director of Arts, James Schaub, will facilitate the trip.

Springtime in the Sonoran Desert boasts a bounty of plants with natural pigments harvested for coloring textiles of all kinds. Join local natural dyer and artist Elana Bloom for a special class dyeing silk with native plants found in the Sonoran Desert and the gardens at Tohono Chul.

Join Tucson Bird Alliance guides for a garden walk at Tohono Chul and discover the Sonoran Desert’s feathered residents! Watch Cactus Wrens chatter from cactus to tree, hear the Curved-billed Thrasher’s two-part whistle, catch hummingbirds sipping blooms, and look skyward for our resident Cooper’s Hawks.

We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be flexible. If we need to cancel or reschedule an event due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you need to cancel your registration within two weeks of the scheduled program, we’ll gladly offer a full refund if we’re able to fill your spot.
