Join the Southern Arizona Nature Journal Club to explore nature journaling and connect with the outdoors. Meet at Tohono Chul’s entrance to sketch a new part of the garden each week. Open to all ages and skill levels—beginners are welcome and encouraged! Bring a journal and your favorite supplies.

Join Tucson Bird Alliance guides for a garden walk at Tohono Chul and discover the Sonoran Desert’s feathered residents! Watch Cactus Wrens chatter from cactus to tree, hear the Curved-billed Thrasher’s two-part whistle, catch hummingbirds sipping blooms, and look skyward for our resident Cooper’s Hawks.
Advance sign-up required; limited to 10 participants. Register on the Tucson Bird Alliance website for your preferred date!
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be flexible. If we need to cancel or reschedule an event due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you need to cancel your registration within two weeks of the scheduled program, we’ll gladly offer a full refund if we’re able to fill your spot.
