ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us on Saturday, February 3, for the Arizona Grand Wine Tasting & Seminar! The AWGA will team up with moderator Arielle DeSoucey, Wine Director for Tap & Bottle & Founder of Civil Wines, to host a seated wine education seminar and guided tasting event in the Garden Pavilion at Tohono Chul Park. This public event will showcase ten unique expressions of Arizona wine in a guided, comparative tasting while presenting detailed information on terroir, vinification, and viticultural practices.

Established in the 1980’s, the Arizona Wine Growers Association is committed to supporting grape growers, winemakers, and wine purveyors throughout the state. The AWGA serves to shape Arizona’s wine industry by promoting legislation and developing advocacy programs to strengthen growth and opportunity for its statewide members. Currently representing over eighty active members, the AWGA’s mission is to highlight the diverse, burgeoning Arizona wine community by bolstering support for the state’s wine industry through public advocacy, seminars, festivals, and guided wine tasting events.

This Arizona wine tasting and educational seminar includes ten wine samples along with some tasty hors d’oeuvres.
Tickets are required for this event. You must be 21 or over to attend.
