Join us for an enlightening evening under the stars at Tohono Chul, hosted in partnership with DarkSky International and the Tucson Amateur Astronomer Association! This free event aims to educate guests about light pollution and Tohono Chul’s commitment to achieving Dark Sky compliance.

Event Details & Itinerary:

Location: Garden Pavilion & Sami’s Courtyard
6:30 pm: Animated PowerPoint presentation by Sam Miller.
7:00 pm: Panel discussion featuring Sam Miller with DarkSky International, and Albert Grauer of the Catalina Sky Survey, who will delve into the importance of preserving our night skies and the impact of light pollution.
7:20 pm: Audience Q&A session with panelists.
7:30 pm: Enjoy guided light walks with DarkSky representatives, followed by star-gazing opportunities with amateur astronomers sharing their telescopes and knowledge.
