Exhibition Acceptance

This is the page you will complete if your work has been accepted for an upcoming exhibition.

Important information for THE ELEMENTS: WATER exhibition:

  • Exhibition Dates: November 17 – February 8, 2022
  • Artist Reception: Thursday November 17 from 5:30 – 8pm, FREE and open to the public
  • Please complete the form below by November 9th.
  • Where to drop off work: Please enter the Gardens through the second (north) gate, which is just north of the Main Entrance Gate at Ina and Oracle. Follow the drive to where it dead ends, there is plenty of parking, the Exhibit House is on the left marked 7366, and you will be in the back of it. You can park by the stairs, near the ramp, or under the solar panels. Go down the walk to the large brown overhang and give the door a good knock or ring the bell to the right of the door, the Exhibits Office is just inside.
  • When to drop off work: Please email exhibits@tohonochul.org to arrange a date and time to drop off your work. Drop off beings now through November 15. If your work is large, we request you come in after the current exhibition is over, after November 10th. The exhibits office is open Monday-Friday from 9am – 4pm. If you need to Drop-off your work during a weekend, please let us know and we can work with you to make the necessary arrangements.
  • Requirements/guidelines for matting, framing and hanging hardware: In order to have a clean and cohesive exhibition design, we ask that if your artwork requires framing, it be framed with a natural, white, or black finish with a flat face and squared off profile. If a mat is used, a white or off-white mat should be utilized. Please use plexi-glass if the work is large. Please use d-ring hangers – same measurement on each side from the top of the frame (about ¼ of the way down) with or without picture wire for your hanging hardware. Please do not use screw eyes.
