Fee for approved commercial photography and videography sessions conducted at Tohono Chul. Includes up to two (2) hours of site access for up to two (2) crew members during the approved shoot timeframe. Additional crew members, extended shoot times, specialized equipment, exclusive access requests, or expanded production needs may be subject to additional fees and approval. All photography sessions must comply with Tohono Chul’s commercial photography guidelines.
Commercial Photography Guidelines
To help protect Tohono Chul’s gardens, natural areas, wildlife, and visitor experience, all commercial photography and videography sessions must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Remain on designated paths and approved garden areas at all times.
- Use of drones is not permitted without explicit permission.
- Do not enter planted beds, natural areas, water features, or restricted spaces.
- Do not pick, move, trim, damage, or otherwise disturb plants, wildlife, exhibits, or garden features.
- Keep pathways, entrances, and visitor access routes clear at all times.
- Be courteous and respectful of other guests and their enjoyment of the gardens.
- Photography sessions may not interfere with normal operations, programs, events, or visitor activities.
- All equipment must be portable and self-contained.
- Large-scale lighting setups, generators, and other specialized equipment require prior approval.
- Electrical cords, cables, or equipment that create trip hazards are not permitted.
- Props, displays, and products must be removed immediately following the session.
- Leave all areas in the same condition in which they were found. No materials, equipment, packaging, or waste may be left behind.
- Commercial photography permits are valid only for the approved date, time, and scope of the project.
- Tohono Chul reserves the right to modify, relocate, or end a photography session if activities are deemed unsafe, disruptive, or harmful to the gardens, wildlife, staff, or visitors.

By paying this fee, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to comply with all Commercial Photography Guidelines established by Tohono Chul and any instructions provided by staff during the photography session.
