Join us at Tohono Chul’s Navajo Textiles Trunk Show, Presentation, & Sale with Terry DeWald of Terry DeWald American Indian Art.

An expert in the field of American Indian Art, DeWald will deliver a presentation each day at noon that focuses on the history, methods, and materials of Navajo Textiles, diving deep into the designs, techniques, and processes the weavers utilize.

Explore fine examples of fine Navajo and Pueblo contemporary and historic weavings and rugs from many regions including, Ganado, Crystal, Two Grey Hills, Teec Nos Pos, Red Mesa, Raised Outline, Wide Ruins and Burntwater, as well as pictorial, Yei, Yei-Be-Chai, and Sandpainting examples.  He also will have Classic, Late Classic, Germantown, and Transitional Navajo textiles.

This Trunk Show is an incredible opportunity to learn more about the region’s nature, art, and culture and to acquire fine examples of vintage and contemporary Navajo weaving for your collection. All proceeds benefit Tohono Chul.
